The Botanist is bringing back their beloved pancake hanging kebabs, especially for Shrove Tuesday. Putting a sugary twist on the restaurants’ famous hanging kebabs, the Pancake Day special will be available between March 3 and 7 – and trust us when we say, you’ll need stretchy pants.
A sell-out success in previous years, the whopping hanging kebabs come in three different options – Chocolate Brownie and Orange with mini-American pancakes, chocolate brownie and orange kebab, served with vanilla ice cream and salted chocolate butterscotch sauce, Strawberry Blondie with mini-American pancakes, blondie bites, fresh strawberries and toasted marshmallow kebab, served with strawberry and vanilla ice cream and raspberry coulis and Sharing Hang-Cake Kebab with your choice of pancake kebab and a sharing tray with strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, orange wedges, caramelised banana, vanilla and strawberry ice cream, raspberry coulis, and salted chocolate butterscotch and mint sprigs.
Each drizzle or sauce can be poured over the kebab from the top of its stand, drizzling down the pancakes and the toppings that are sandwiched between them for extra flavour. Each kebab is also served with a bowl of ice cream below, too, the perfect finale to an epic sweet treat.
