The powerful scores of the notable film composer Hans Zimmer are coming alive at Liverpool Cathedral this season. Whether you’re familiar with his work in science fiction films like Inception and Interstellar or the epic The Last Samurai, one thing is guaranteed: you’ll revisit some of the most memorable moments in cinema history as you’re surrounded by hundreds of flickering candles. The talented musicians of String Infusion will take on these scores and many more in celebration of the living German legend.
Best of Magical Movie Soundtracks
If you want more movie magic, there’s a new tribute to some of the most successful and fantastical movies that have captured our hearts since our childhoods. Think of “Tale as Old as Time” from Beauty and the Beast originally performed by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson, the uplifting “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz, Toy Story and The Little Mermaid composed by Alan Menken.

These enchanting candlelit concerts continue to wow audiences all over the world with stunning live music and the flicker of candlelight. The Candlelight series takes place twice each night with two back-to-back performances, each lasting 60 minutes. Doors open 45 minutes before the concert is due to start and late entry is not permitted.
Note that for the safety of our audience, all of the candlelight will be provided through flameless candles.
