After success in the past few years, Fever’s gorgeous Candlelight concerts have returned to enchant your eyes and ears with a series of sensational shows. Featuring classical renditions of modern music, alongside performances of traditional concertos, this series has something to suit everyone. You’ll hear the music, whilst enjoying the serene surrounds of a venue that’s been bathed in the gentle glow of candlelight. All you have to do is find your seat, sit back, and enjoy.
Taking place at various locations in Liverpool, these spectacular shows will illuminate the finest venues, specifically chosen for their beauty, history, or fame – or all three. In 2021, candlelight concerts took place in the likes of Grand Central Hall and the Palm House in Sefton Park, both of which have more performances scheduled this year. There will be a few other venues on the line up too, including St George’s Hall and The Florrie.
Choose to delve into an hour, or more, of mesmerising movie scores, modern pop hits, or classical concertos, all performed live. String performers, pianists or even a whole orchestra will take to the candlelit stage – and in some performances, they’ll even be joined by ballet dancers! Music from Fleetwood Mac to Tchaikovsky, and even the likes of movie score musician Hans Zimmer, will be getting the candlelight concert treatment this year, so keep an eye out for your favourites. Some shows will follow a theme, rather than focusing on a specific musical act; some candlelight performances celebrate pop artists, soul stars and more.
