Pancake Day might be a little later this year but that doesn’t mean there won’t be plenty of tasty pancakes for you to get stuck into. 1. Moose Coffee
The pancake and waffle legends, Moose Coffee, are of course here to serve beautifully soft pancakes this Pancake Day. You can order their classic pancakes with lashings of their Canadian maple syrup (which we need on tap) or pick from their tasty toppings. Moose Coffee are serving pancakes topped with either banana and pecan; granola and chocolate peanut butter; apple and homemade salted caramel; or smoky streaky bacon. You can also add additional toppings (because why not?) such as peanut butter, fried egg, salted caramel or chipolata sausages.

If you don’t fancy tackling the pan this Pancake Day The Interesting Eating Company on Allerton Road is here to serve up stacks on stacks on stacks of pancakes. You can either have their crêpes or fluffy pancakes and top them with whatever ingredients you desire. As well as dining inside, they also offer fresh savoury and sweet pancakes available for delivery in Liverpool and ready to eat via their online ordering service. From chicken and creamy mushroom to roasted vegetables and sundried tomato, banoffee to classic lemon and sugar pancakes, there are pancakes for all tastes.

3. Potts Coffee
Plant-based eaters can rejoice as Potts Coffee is serving an array of vegan pancakes to tuck into this Pancake Day. Decide whether you want three, six or nine thick, fluffy pancakes to devour as well as select from a range of toppings (either two or four depending on pancake size) such as Biscoff spread, almond flakes, chocolate honeycomb, crumbled Oreo. Plus, there are even some savoury toppings to enjoy including hash browns, scrambled tofu, avocado, vegan bacon and beans.

Brunch is back and Portland Street is bringing you your brunch fix of pancakes. Indulge in some tasty stacks at this Wavertree café whether you choose their sweet and simple pancakes smothered in icing sugar and maple syrup or some more adventurous toppings. Select from either their piggy pancakes of four pieces of chargrilled back bacon served over soft pancakes, topped with fried eggs and sweet syrup) or coconut milk pancakes served with vegetarian sausage, spinach and mushrooms, topped with maple syrup.

This Liverpool coffee shop is also offering fluffy American-style pancakes to enjoy this Pancake Day with a range of toppings to make that stack unbelievably delicious. From February 26 to March 1, you can choose from three delicious pancake options: maple syrup and bacon; mascarpone and fresh berries; or vegan coconut cream and fresh berries. Their breakfast, lunch and brunch menu runs until 4pm so perfect if you’re looking to celebrate Pancake Day for breakfast or lunch or both.

Bringing a taste of Amsterdam to Liverpool this little Walton café serves tiny Dutch pancakes, known as Poffertjes in the Netherlands, as a cute alternative to a massive stack. Depednign on how hungry you’re feeling, you can order either ten, fifteen or 25 mini pancakes and choose two toppings for them or pay 40p for another topping. Pick anything from mini marshmallows to M&Ms, caramel cubes to chopped nuts, banana to Biscoff crumb, as well as a selection of sauces like Nutella, white chocolate, Stroop or toffee. To add to the Dutch experience, order a Speculoos and Biscoff milkshake alongside your pancakes.
