Lockdown or not, Pancake Day is coming and it’s not going to stop us from gorging on pancakes. Luckily, you can still enjoy a stack or two of pancakes from some of these Liverpool cafés and restaurants either delivered to your door or via click and collect. Whether you’re after fluffy, American-style pancakes or thin, crispy-edged crêpes, this pancake round-up has them all.

1. Moose Coffee

The pancake and waffle legends, Moose Coffee, are of course here to serve beautifully soft pancakes this Pancake Day. You can order their classic pancakes with lashings of their Canadian maple syrup (which we need on tap) or pick from their tasty toppings. Moose Coffee are serving pancakes topped with either banana and pecan; granola and chocolate peanut butter; apple and homemade salted caramel; or smoky streaky bacon. 2. The Interesting Eating Company

The Interesting Eating Company on Allerton Road have jumped on the DIY decorating kit boxes hype this year and you can create your very own pancakes this Pancake Day. You can have their crêpes come to you and simply decorate and top them with whatever ingredients you desire. Each pancake box can be ordered via direct message on Instagram and includes pancakes, crêpes and fluffy Yank stacks, lemon and sugar, Nutella, maple syrup, fruit, marshmallows, sprinkles and white chocolate chunks. 3. Potts Coffee

Plant-based eaters can rejoice as Potts Coffee is serving an array of vegan pancakes to tuck into at home. Decide whether you want three, six or nine thick, fluffy pancakes to devour as well as select from a range of toppings (either two, four or six depending on pancake size) such as Biscoff spread, almond flakes, chocolate honeycomb, crumbled oreo. 4. Tavern Co

Brunch might not be the same right now but Tavern Co is bringing you your brunch fix of pancakes. The Wavertree café remains open for deliveries and takeaway during lockdown for you to enjoy a stack. Choose from American pancakes with either bananas and butterscotch sauce, Nutella and strawberries or maple syrup and a dusting of icing sugar. 5. Lock and Key

This Liverpool hotel on Duke Street is also offering fluffy American-style pancakes to enjoy at home with their build your own pancake stack option. Choose from one fruit and one other topping such as Nutella, peanut butter, blueberry compote, white chocolate or smoked bacon.
