Whether you consider yourself a sommelier or just started drinking during the pandemic and didn’t stop, we’re sure that the idea of free wine from ALDI sounds appealing. After all, all you have to do is taste it and offer your opinions, which is what we all do anyway after we’ve had a couple of glasses.
That’s right, ALDI is looking for people to provide feedback on their wines and 30 lucky people will be selected from those who apply. The bottles haven’t seen the shelves yet so your feedback could help the supermarket chain decide what customers will be drinking in the future.
So how do we get this free wine from ALDI?
It’s easy peasy to apply, you just need to send an email to aldiwineclub@clarioncomms.co.uk with your details: full name, social media handles, follower count and age. Then you need to write 150 words summarising why you think you’d be the perfect fit for the job, alongside a little bit about your favourite ALDI wine.
Should you be successful, you’ll receive three bottles of free wine from ALDI, which you’ll need to sip (or gulp) down in a six-week period. Probably best not to gulp though as they’re offering actual serious guidance from Sam Caporn, Mistress of Wine, which is a fantastic job title.
She advises that people smell their wine before they drink it to properly appreciate the flavours, for example. Plus, she offers guidance on how to store wine so that you don’t ruin the flavours. Who knew that serving white wine too cold was a big no-no?
Make sure you don’t miss out on some free wine from ALDI by applying before the deadline, which is March 13. Participants will need to share their reviews on social media with the hashtag #AldiWineClub, which is certainly one way to show off your free swag!
