UNIQLO fans, rejoice! While most of us have visited the brand’s stores while on our travels, now Liverpool officially has one, too.
Located on Paradise Street at Liverpool ONE, UNIQLO opened its doors on Thursday, April 24, occupying the former Tessuti Building. The huge superstore spans over 1,430 sq meters across two floors, offering the classic pieces we all know and love, such as the famous UNIQLO bag that could possibly fit a kitchen sink and still have space left.
Liverpudlians can expect UNIQLO’s popular services like UTme! customisable T-shirt station, and a dedicated RE.UNIQLO Studio, allowing to repair, remake and recycle preloved UNIQLO items to promote sustainability and longevity of the items.
Plus, around the opening date, Girls On The Go Liverpool, an organisation that promotes women’s health and empowerment, will be hosting run clubs that anyone can join!
UNIQLO already boasts 20 stores all around the UK, with the most recent store having opened in Coal Drops Yard, London in September 2024. On top of the UNIQLO Liverpool opening in April, Birmingham and Glasgow stores are set to open their doors this Autumn 2025, bringing the total number of UNIQLO stores to 23 this year.
Alessandro Dudech, Chief Operating Officer, UNIQLO U.K, said: “We are delighted to bring UNIQLO to the vibrant city of Liverpool. Our brand is dedicated to providing innovative and high-quality clothing that caters to the needs of our customers. With our presence in Liverpool, we aim to become an integral part of the local community, offering a unique shopping experience that blends style, comfort and affordability.”
Opening day offers
The first 100 customers to spend £49.90 or more on opening day and on Saturday, April 26 will receive a free goody bag. What is more, UNIQLO app customers will be entered into a draw to win a trip to Tokyo, by scanning the app with any purchase during opening weekend to be entered into the draw.
There will also be limited price promotions exclusive to the Liverpool store on items, such as premium linen, BLOCKTECH, pleated wide pants and merino crew neck sweaters for both men and women.
