The event will run every weekend for four weeks.
Outdoor dining may have made a return at the end of April but it is certainly not letting up, especially with the great weather. Summer in the Square, an outdoor food and drink market, is opening in Liverpool city centre and will boast live music, DJs, food stalls and screenings of the Euros and Wimbledon to make for a fun day or night.
Located at Exchange Flags, the area has been transformed for Summer in the Square with the addition of faux grass, tables and benches, a canopy covering and atmospheric lighting. The beach-themed event will be running every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 12 noon to 10pm, from June 11 until July 11.
Guests can expect plenty of live entertainment, jazz music and cocktails from local bowling bar, PINS Social Club, as well as a range of drinks and street food, making it an outdoor event that you certainly don’t want to miss. Summer in the Square is also offering the perfect set-up for you and your mates to watch the key sporting tournaments kicking off this summer that are the Euros and Wimbledon, which you’ll be able to view on their large screens as well as enjoy the suntrap of Exchange Flags.
Sports fans won’t miss a game as both PINS Social Club’s bar and Summer in the Square pop-up will be showing all the matches. Plus, the outdoor pop-up will be making an exception on opening hours in order to show the England Euros games on June 22 and July 6. Summer in the Square will also feature South American-style food and drinks packages available to order online, which include cocktails, sharers, draught, bottles and cans, wine, champagne, as well as soft drinks.
Plus, to either start or end your weekend on a high, the cocktail garden set up at Exchange Flags is available for walk-ins only, however you’ll need to book to get a good view of the screen. Free entry on Thursdays and then £10 per head (including welcome drink) on Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
You can book your table of up to six people at Summer in the Square by visiting PINS Social Club’s website here.
