October is creeping in, and with this in mind, of course, we’re already looking forward to Halloween, and for us, that means Scare City is set to return. The North West’s favourite horror event, Scare City, has announced its return to the abandoned Camelot theme park site for its sixth Halloween, promising a world of terror like no other.
Scare City is the North West’s favourite horror extravaganza. Starting out as a drive-in cinema in 2020, it’s now a walk-through horror attraction based in the abandoned Camelot Theme Park, and it was voted Best Scare Attraction 2023 by ScareTrack.

This year’s event is set to feature a selection of terrifying zones, including the Slaughter House, where Camelot’s resident cannibal lives, who has set the date for his annual dinner party. ‘The Hollow’ is bringing a desolate woodland, and the ‘Puppet Master’ is a toy maker’s workshop where innocent toys hide deep dark secrets, as well as the return of Carnivalley, the madhouse that is no laughing matter.
Moreover, Abyss is also set to return as ‘Abyss 2.0’, boasting a room of pure darkness, unsure of what, or who, might be within reach.

Visitors will find a feast of food and beverage vendors at the halfway mark, known as ‘Resurrection Zone‘ – giving thrill seekers a chance to fuel up for the second half of the harrowing Halloween spectacular.
Scare City launches on September 27 this year and will run until the middle of November. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased here − these are priced at £29.50 a per ticket or £44.50 including fast track.
📍 You can find Scare City Experience at Camelot Theme Park, Charnock Richard, Chorley PR7 5LP.
