There is just something so comforting about a Sunday Roast: the warming smell of fresh gravy, the hearty tenderness of the meat, the familiar crunch of vegetables… Well, it looks like we can get our hands on some free Sunday Roasts in Liverpool this weekend, and we couldn’t be happier.
Maray, the North-West based independent restaurant group, is bringing back their Middle-Eastern-inspired Sunday Roast to their Liverpool Dockside Restaurant, and they’re giving away hundreds of free plates on Sunday, September 29.
Maray’s take on the classic British tradition boasts Yorkshire puddings, classic roast veggies, crispy fenugreek potatoes and butternut squash tershi, as well as a classic Libyan spiced dip. Guests can choose from a range of meats with one vegetarian option, such as lemon, za’atar and saffron spiced chicken, roast beef sirloin or spiced chickpea nut roast, paired with unlimited gravy and cauli cheese.
How to claim the free Sunday Roast
To get a plate of the Sunday Roast for free, simply show up at Maray Liverpool Dockside Restaurant this Sunday (September 29) from midday. The roasts will be available from 12pm until they are gone, so we would recommend coming early. The one-off event is walk-ins only, with no bookings allowed.
For those who don’t end up getting the free Sunday roasts, they will be available on Sundays starting from £19 per person.
