Yet another incredible foodie spot is opening this season as Albert Schloss comes to Liverpool. It will be the third UK spot, with other locations already established in Manchester and Birmingham, and it will bring a taste of Bavaria to the city.
It will span a whopping 1000 square foot, decked out in the sleekest, most beautiful decor. Already photos are emerging of the interior and they’re making swift progress toward building what will be a colossal culinary spot.
Liverpool’s Albert Schloss will be split into two parts: The Cook Haus and the Bier Palace which includes a Bier Garten. The Cook Haus will serve delicious classics like Schnitzel befitting of the prince after which the place is named.
Brunch will also be a luxurious affair, with breakfast cocktails alongside pancakes and cooked breakfasts. On Sundays you’ll be able to enjoy mouthwatering roasts with the most sumptuous gravy.
There will be a huge variety of the best European beers from top beer-producing companies like Germany and the Czech Republic and a stage on which performers will entertain. Think Kunst Kabaret and Friday Frolich where you can see some fantastic live music.
On the second floor will be home to Ludwig’s Tavern, where you’ll find the funnest atmosphere. This place will be great for mate’s dates, boasting artisan Schnapps and even a vermouth bar. Plus, there will be tons of tavern games, including a shuffleboard!
The huge venue at 18-26 Bold Street has always been beautiful. This art-deco building used to be Radiant House, the food market. Before that it was The Liverpool Gas Company but it has been empty since 2019 so it will be great to see this space utilised as it’s so central.
