Whether it’s the school holidays or just a regular weekend, it can quickly get boring doing the same thing over and over again with the kids. Fear not, for we have put some of the very best things to do with kids in Liverpool all into one place, making it a day out to remember!
1. Have a go at bubble football
Have you ever seen the whacky sport of people dressed as giant bubbles while playing football? Well, it’s called bubble football (shock…), and it’s absolutely hilarious. Players will get strapped into giant inflatable balls, where they will run around (and roll around, for that matter) in two teams of five playing a classic game of football. One ticket is valid for a group of up to 15 people of all ages, so it’s a great way to either get the whole extended family together, or combine a few families for an exciting day out. You can book your tickets on Fever.
2. Have a day out at the library with rooftop views
Okay, this may not sound like one of the most exciting things to do with kids in Liverpool, yet it is way more exciting than you think. The Liverpool Central Library & Record Office is one of the most impressive spaces in Liverpool, boasting not only thousands of books, but also a stellar view on its rooftop. Kids can let their curiosity flow in whichever age-appropriate category they may choose, while adults can also find something worthy of a read. Plus, visitors can also indulge in some sweet treats and drinks at the cafe downstairs afterwards!
3. Visit Anfield Stadium for a special tour
Sports fans can embark on an informative tour of Anfield Stadium, experience the grandiose space like never before. Visitors will get the chance to step into the shoes of their football heroes by walking through the Players Tunnel to the sound of the Anfield roar at Liverpool FC’s home Stadium, visiting the dressing room and finding out what occurs during a press conference. Plus, the guided audio tour also passes through the stadium’s museum. You can book your tickets on Fever.
4. Embark on a safari with rhinos and lions
For a more wild day out, embark on an adventure at Knowsley Safari with 750 animals. WHAT! During the five-mile safari, adventurers can witness anything from baboons to camels, and wildebeest to rhinos. The experience is also from the comfort of your own car, so no need for extra fussing around with the kids either, however, there are options for a foot safari, as well as the Baboon Bus for those not wanting to risk damage to their nice cars. Tickets can be found on the Knowsley Safari website.
5. Enjoy the sun at one of our favourite beaches
