Spooky season is here, with autumn lovers flocking to their local farms for a touch of extra happiness. Well, there is a special place near Liverpool that is hosting a charming pumpkin patch perfect for a family day out. The Hayloft pumpkin field is open on October 5, ready to brighten up everyone’s day, as well as their home later.
The Hayloft is a local family-run farm, coffee shop and ice cream shop, located near Warringdon in Cheshire, just thirty minutes from Liverpool by car. On top of hosting a sunflower field during the summer, the spot also has a pumpkin patch during autumn, as well as pick your own Christmas trees and even runs a Christmas Panto Santa experience, ‘Cinderella’.

This year’s pumpkin patch is just as exciting, with a miniature train taking visitors to and from the trail. Open between 10am and 4:30pm, The Hayloft also boasts a free play barn, facepainting and spooky maze as well as the usual tractors, play area and animals such as cows and goats.
The entry is free, while pick-your-own pumpkins are £2 each. Plus, you can bring your furry friends with you as dogs on leads are welcome! The experience is open between October 5 and 31.

Guests can indulge in a Full English Breakfast for under £9, or go for Eggs Benedict for a similar price. For lunch, visitors can enjoy a crusty white baguette with a wide range of fillings, a generous selection of sandwiches and wraps, and the usual favourites such as jacket potatoes and toasties.
