Escape To A Waterside Haven In These Stunning Glamping Domes Just A Short Drive From Liverpool

The perfect escape for a bit of peace and quiet.

Ok, so it’s been pretty impossible to snap up a staycation in the UK this summer, but if you’re planning to get ahead of the game for an Autumn retreat, we have just the spot.

Sitting pretty on the side of a lake in picturesque Weeton, Lancashire, The Domes at Ream Hills are as luxurious as glamping holidays come – with views that’ll make you forget you’re in the UK at all – let alone the North West (although, rainy spells might give that away).

Suspended on a platform above the water that helps provide the most spectacular sights, each geodome is complete with a fully transparent window pointed towards the lake, with plenty of space inside to sleep up to six people for the ultimate sleepover.

Complete with two double beds and an absolutely massive, cosy sofa, guests can curl up in front of the water with a glass of vino on an evening, nestle in a mini hammock (which is great for Instagram snaps), or starfish on one of the cosy beds while appreciating the peaceful location.

But the real star of the show is the dome’s very own projector and cinema screen, which can be pulled down whenever you like to enjoy a movie on or a bit of Netflix. Whether it’s a romantic getaway or a weekend away with the gang, it’s the perfect way to wind down after exploring the North West’s many stunning locations, particularly at dusk when the moonlight’s shimmering over the water.

In addition to all the cosy features that lie inside the domes, guests can also take advantage of a wonderful dome-side deck, where you can cook up a good old BBQ while soaking up the sun or watching the sunset with a beer, with panoramic views of the countryside to take in from each and every dome.

If you fancy getting out for the day, the site is just a short drive away from Blackpool and its fun Pleasure Beach, with other attractions including Lytham St. Annes, the Forest of Bowland and more just a small journey away.
