This is the kind of bus we are definitely running for!
A beachside bus bar is returning to Crosby Marina once more this summer, bringing plenty of fun to this Liverpool area. The pop-up food and drink venue, The Bus Yard, which operates from a double decker bus, will be heading back to the coast this August.
Sefton Council previously gave the bar permission to open at the beach for a month, to see if visitors would be interested in more permanent refreshment offers at the popular spot. And low and behold beachside drinks are back for 28 days!
The Bus Yard has been parked up in Liverpool hosting music events and providing plenty of food and drink at Cain’s Brewery Village since early July. However, so neither Liverpool city centre nor Crosby miss out, another bus has been newly-renovated and will remain at the Baltic Triangle and will also be serving bottomless brunch.
The Bus Yard is an outdoor space with a fully licensed mobile bar on the lower deck with a roof top terrace and kitchen container serving some top notch street food. The converted double decker bus has served up delicious dishes like loaded fries topped with either melted cheddar cheese with crispy bacon; salt and pepper; or duck hoisin.
You’ll also find hot dogs, buddha bowls and burgers as well as beers, cocktails, and other refreshing drinks to sip on this summer. Plus, for all those with a sweet tooth be prepared for the decadent desserts being served from this bus including loaded doughnuts topped with the likes of Kinder Bueno and hazelnut buttercream or Jammy Dodgers with white chocolate ganache.
Alongside their food and drink offerings, The Bus Yard will be bringing live music and DJs to the yard at Crosby Marina from August 10 onwards. The bus’s top deck is around 15 feet in the air, meaning it boasts some incredible views of the beach too.
