If you know Candlelight, you’ll know it has a soft spot for a good tribute. Bridgerton, The Lord of the Rings and The Wizard of Oz have all had the candlelit treatment, and now it’s the turn of a family with considerably sharper tailoring.
Candlelight: Peaky Blinders – Waitlist
St George's Hall
Steven Knight’s BBC drama ran for six series between 2013 and 2022, following Tommy Shelby and his family through the streets of 1920s Birmingham. The story carried on in 2026 with the film The Immortal Man. But ask any fan what stays with them and plenty will say the music: the show made its name pairing a period setting with modern rock, and that brooding sound is made for dark, powerful arrangements by candlelight.
You’ll hear the two songs that open the door to the Shelbys’ world. “Red Right Hand” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds — the opening theme you can probably hum already — and Arctic Monkeys’ “Do I Wanna Know?” are both on the bill.
The concert runs for about an hour, under the glow of thousands of candles. There’s no dress code, but if your flat cap has been waiting for a proper outing, this is it.
Dates and tickets haven’t been announced yet. Join the waitlist and you’ll be among the first to hear when they are, with presale access before tickets go on general sale. Consider it a summons from the family.
