4. One Fine Day
The beautiful Liverpool city-centre location that is One Fine Day is readying itself to re-open for a special Mother’s Day brunch on March 27. At The Art School on Sugnall Street, Paul Askew and his team have created an elegant five-course menu inspired by the abundant regional produce across the region, with as many locally sourced ingredients used as possible. The intimate Scouse brasserie in Duke Street Market has revealed their Mother Day’s menu for March 27, with a celebration of Barnacle’s founding principles; locally sourced ingredients celebrating the city’s maritime soul and history. For £55 per person, guests can enjoy quite the delicious spread and worthy of a queen, as it features chef’s snacks and a glass of sparkling wine followed an amuse bouche and the likes of ‘New Liverpool seafood chowder’ with langoustine, mussels and samphire to start. You can then tuck into a Sunday roast of either lamb leg, spring chicken or dukkah cauliflower with all the trimmings; spiced roasted cod; or gnocchi with Wirral watercress.
