Free mince pies. From a vending machine. Do I even need to say more? Probably not, but I probably should at least let you know the what, the when and the where of the free Christmas treats in Liverpool tomorrow (December 5). That’s right, a mince pie vending machine is popping up in the city for one day only!
The world’s first mince pie vending machine is celebrating Iceland Foods’ mince pies becoming the first and only to be given “Santa’s official seal of approval”. On Thursday, December 5, guests can flock to its Liverpool store located at 3/4 Williamson Square, Liverpool L1 1EQ, which is giving out free mince pies starting from 10am.
According to Iceland’s sales data, Liverpool is officially the “mince pie capital of the UK”. So, We expect a queue, so do arrive bright and early for your chance of a snagging treat!
On top of traditional mince pies, the first mince pie vending machine in the world will be dispensing alternative options, such as cheesy Cathedral City Mince Pies, Caramel Crumble Mince Pies and Chocolate Caramel Crumble Mince Pies.
What is more, Iceland will add to the festive excitement by giving shoppers the chance to win an entire Christmas shop for free, up to to the value of £250. Visitors will also have the chance to win mystery £10 shopping vouchers alongside their mince pies throughout the day.
