A mouthwatering new restaurant opened just days ago on Lark Lane and despite MeatMe’s name there are plenty of tasty vegetarian dishes to try there too.
It opened just yesterday in the South of Liverpool and you can expect modern, Greek street food. It’s comfortingly familiar, serving delicious gyros, souvlaki and plenty of other tasty dishes.
All of the dishes are freshly made, so you can expect only the richest flavours and most moreish combinations. There’s a whole list of dirty fries to try, including halloumi fries which, you may have guessed, are my favourite kind of fries.
Once you step inside the restaurant you’re greeted with pretty charming decor. Leaves hang from the ceiling, reminiscent of a rural Greek restaurant, and the olive-green paint makes you feel even more like you’re in the Mediterranean.
Dark, stained tables and stone floors take you from Liverpool to Greece, and then just wait until you taste the food. There’s nothing like a gyro to keep you eating until your stomach feels uncomfortably full. The restaurant is open from 2 pm – 10 pm, Tuesday till Sunday and you’ll find it at 20 Lark Lane, L17 8U.
