Divine croissant fans rejoice, as Lunko is expanding to the Baltic Triangle. The viral spot loved by many has seen major success at its Lunko by the Lane location, so it is only fitting they cast their net wider around Liverpool.
Lunko currently has its one and only location on Little Parkfield Road just off Lark Lane, offering an impressive selection of pastries to satisfy every craving (no, seriously). Visitors can get their hands on cube croissants, supremes, cruffins, a wide variety of danishes and, of course, some decent coffee. The cafe has received an overwhelming amount of positivity from Liverpudlians, with rave reviews all over the internet, went viral on TikTok and Instagram, you name it.
As a result, the spot has announced a little teaser for its new location in Liverpool, with Baltic Triangle being on their radar. Today (September 20), Lunko announced on Instagram, posting a video of a coffee cup, crossing off the “by the Lane” bit and replacing it with “in the Baltic”. The caption just read “Coming soon – Lunko 2.0.”, being as mysterious as it gets.
The commenters showed their excitement, saying: “Yes!!! 🙌👏 well done guys amazing news ❤️ so happy this is working out and going from strength to strength for you 🥳”
With another person commenting: “Still need a lunko by the beach (crosby) or lunko near the woods (formby) ❤️”, with plenty of people offering more locations for the cafe to expand to, including Southport and Altrincham.
One person raised a fair point, however, saying: “This is bad news for my bank account and belly 😂”. I mean, same…
So we can’t wait to see what the new location brings for Lunko, and you can watch this space for more updates.
Lunko by the Lane is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am.
