Trip to the park, anyone?
After a pretty dark and dismal winter in the UK dealing with the usual lack of sunlight and not-so-normal lockdown, things might finally be on the up. Not only have the clocks gone forward, granting us a precious extra hour of daylight, but the weather has decided to join the fun. According to BBC weather, Liverpool could see gorgeous highs of 21°C on Tuesday and Wednesday (March 30-31), along with prolonged spells of sunshine.
And, if you’re like us – counting down the days until each new stage of the roadmap out of lockdown – you’ll know this comes at just the right time. The Gods must be slightly in our favour (for now). That’s because from today (March 29), lockdown laws are beginning to ease, with groups of six permitted to meet up outdoors again.
What better time to get a little preview of summer as Spring is still settling in? It might even see the UK be the brief envy of even the most scorching Mediterranean destinations, weather-wise. That’s because, at 21°C, Liverpool is slated to be warmer than Ibiza’s 19°C over this two-day period.
