1. Biffs
The vegan burger legends that are Biffs will still be bringing you their epic burgers, jackfruit wingz and loaded fries for home delivery. 2. Wootan Scran
Another vegan favourite in the city, and you can have an array of Chinese chippy favourites delivered to your home. You can still have quite the spread with you and your household as there’s something for everyone. From vegetable dumplings to cheesey chips, battered sausage to jackfruit pancakes plus all the sauces like gravy, curry sauce (mild and hot), sweet and sour, black bean or satay, as well as mushy peas. 3. Rosa’s Thai Cafe
Don’t fancy the same old basic meal everyday? Hang tight as Rosa’s Thai Cafe has got dinner covered. Whether you want plates of sticky tamarind chicken wings and fresh summer rolls or a good noodle dish like pad thai or a curry, the Liverpool restaurant is delivering the dinner of champions to your area. And we sure need some fittingly-named champion chicken in sriracha sauce, and a medal, for getting through lockdown 2.0. 4. Maray
If you’ve been missing your shawarma wraps and spicy dishes dearly, fear not. Maray is the spot for you. Throw in some disco cauliflower (its coated in harissa, tahini, chermoula, almonds, pomegranate seeds, parsley and paprika), bhajis and harissa buttermilk chicken for sides and there you have some cracking lockdown grub available to ease you through the boredom. Choose from wraps with fillings such as falafel and hummus; lamb, pickled cabbage, tabbouleh and curried yoghurt; or chicken with harissa and Maray’s special slaw, to name a few. Plus, Maray are also doing a collect a roast service every Sunday from their Allerton Road and Albert Dock restaurants.

5. The Monro
Praise the Lord, praise thee who kept this place open for lockdown delivery. Yes, this restaurant in the Georgian Quarter has announced they are providing classic British comfort food and more to the people of Liverpool. The Monro is offering Sunday Roasts for collection via their website or delivery via Deliveroo and you can pre-order a mighty meal such as roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and homemade gravy, as well as a veggie option of a nut roast. They are also delivering pigs in blankets, extra Yorkshire puddings and gravy, strats such as prawn cocktail and indulgent desserts like chocolate fudge cake from Thursday to Sunday, 12pm to 7pm.

If you still want a slice of the action but from your humble abode, burger and wings restaurant Pattersons, is delivering some fine food to your door. From a a kilo bucket of fried chicken and chicken wings varying from six to 14 to loaded fries and delicious burgers like the Texan Perfection (Patterson’s famous fried chicken, bbq pulled pork, chorizo and nacho cheese), these mouth-watering dishes will make this lockdown a little more bearable. Patterson’s also have plenty of sauces, sides and sweets available. Plus, you can even order from a wide selection of cocktails to well and truly complete the night in style and comfort.

While you can’t take a quick holiday to Spain right now, you can still enjoy some exquisite tapas. Lunya has a host of plates available from patatas bravas to ham croquetas as well as deli platters. Order yourself some wine and sit in your dining or living room and wack the heating on and you might as well be on a Spanish terrace. Lunya also have some exciting sandwiches with fillings like Spanish black pudding, chorizo and spicy roast peppers and desserts such as churros which feature on their tapas delivery menu.

Amalia is alive and ticking for you to indulge this lockdown. Generously-topped pizzas are a good self-care method during normal times. So, you best believe it’ll work better during this period. Order an obscenely satisfying pizza for home delivery and forgot your worries just for a moment. 10. Bold Street Coffee
Because coffee and a breakfast bun are always the best medicine in a crisis. Bold Street Coffee are offering their Egg Buoys in brioche buns to go, filled with scrambled egg, cheese and either a sausage patty or bacon. Or try the Veggie Buoy, which is filled with a fried egg, mushroom, avocado, hash brown, onion jam and cheese. Not to mention the fact that you can also get sausage rolls (including vegan ones), chicken katsu sandwiches, pastries and much more. It’s a blessing (and maybe a curse) for anyone with even the slightest sweet tooth or needs their caffeine fix. You can even get ground coffee or beans for a lockdown brew that will perk you up.

11. Caribou Poutine
With the weather getting colder, we know we would rather spend these low temperatures in a log cabin with roaring fires in the Canadian mountains, with a bowl of poutine. Luckily, Caribou Poutine has announced they are delivering their signature loaded fries throughout lockdown. The restaurant is serving their original poutine of skin on fries, cheese curds and homemade gravy as well as an array of toppings to choose from. There’s even a Hangover Poutine, which is topped with a fried egg, streaky bacon and sausage- ideal for that post-Zoom quiz which got a little out of hand. Caribou Poutine is also perfect if you’re looking for a chance to eat something indulgent together as a household since we can’t currently savour this in an actual restaurant. 12. Homebaked
Homebaked, a community-owned bakery, opposite Liverpool Football Club and famous for it’s award winning pies are still baking during this lockdown. Order an obscenely satisfying and generously-filled pie and enjoy. Homebaked’s shop is currently closed and not offering delivery but is stocking their pies at the Neighbourhood Cafe for you to collect. Some of Homebaked’s previous flavours of bake at home pies have included: shankly (includes steak and bacon), chicken and veg, vegan scouse or mushroom and brandy, to name a few. Liverpool FC manager, Jürgen Klopp, has even had a pie named after him.

13. Baltic Social
Don’t fancy the same old breakfast everyday? Or do you feel like having a breakfast muffin or fry up as a weekend treat but some of the ingredients are out of stock at the supermarket?
