It’s not long now until James Blake releases his new album, Trying Times, and to mark the occasion, the artist will head out on a very intimate run of UK shows.
On ‘a homecoming series of intimate shows’, James Blake will perform a gig at Jacaranda Baltic in Liverpool on March 30. These come alongside intimate shows in Brighton, Bristol, Kingston, Marlborough, London, and Sheffield.

Trying Times is set for release on Friday, March 13, marking James Blake’s seventh solo studio album, following 2023’s Playing Robots Into Heaven. In 2024, he also released a collaborative album with Lil Yachty, titled Bad Cameo.
James Blake performed in London last year, appearing at the ‘Together For Palestine’ concert at Wembley Arena, as well as being part of the bill on Little Simz’s Meltdown Festival at the Southbank Centre. His last UK headline tour came in 2022, which included a huge London show at Alexandra Palace (which he returned to for a one-off show the following year).
