Lewis Capaldi is not skipping Liverpool after all – after being announced as the headliner for the In The Park festival in Liverpool in November, the singer-songwriter is officially joined by Loyle Carner. The music festival is making a welcome return to Sefon Park in the city, accompanied by the global superstar’s return.
Lewis Capaldi went on tour in arenas across the UK and Ireland, missing Liverpool in September, following the release of his new single, Survive, and made a surprise return to Glastonbury Festival this year. However, fans will be able to rejoice in his music on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in Sefton Park at In The Park festival.
The huge outdoor show is set to be the “biggest-ever” Capaldi has ever done. Guests can not only expect a night of uplifting splendour, but also a fun festival vibe with street food and drinks throughout, such as crepes, curries, gourmet burgers, pizzas, chips, wraps, hotdogs, Burritos, ice creams and more.
And today (February 27), In The Park 2026 has announced Capaldi is going to be joined by Loyle Carner. Loyle Carner is bringing his usual blend of “diaristic lyricism and genre-defying sound” to Liverpool. The artist was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize twice, and is the proud recipient of multiple BRIT and NME Award nominations. What is more, Carner has a noteworthy global following with over 1.1 billion streams to his name.
What are the opening times of In The Park 2026 festival in Liverpool?
