Bringing chilly vibes to Liverpool this December as part of the Liverpool Ice Festival celebrations is an enviable ice bar to lounge in. Immerse yourself in the full skating experience by heading to this brand new ice bar in Liverpool.
From December 10 to January 3, a 50sqm ice bar will be located down at Liverpool’s Pier Head where you can cuddle up against the cold, drink in glove-laden hand and surrounded entirely by ice.
Priced at £12 per ticket, each 20-minute session will include either one free cocktail or mocktail to enjoy, and a free souvenir cup which you can take away with you. Don your gloves and hat, wrap up warm, bring a cosy throw and enjoy a drink of your choice surrounded by sparkling sculpted ice and snow-covered trees- it’s the ultimate frozen winter wonderland.
Rob Derry, Managing Director of Events & Event Hire at Arena, which produces the event, said: “Families and couples looking for a more relaxed evening should look no further than this year’s ice bar in Liverpool. It’s an experience filled with all things ice and looks fantastic situated next to the Liverpool Ice Festival site. After last year’s lockdown Christmas period, we wanted to bring the fun back to the region in more ways than ever.”
The Liverpool Ice Festival also includes a spectacular covered ice rink, to ensure the elements don’t hamper any Christmas spirits, as well as an alpine bar providing delicious hearty food and beverages and a place to shelter from the cold and a cosy up with a blanket. If that’s not enough, visitors can head to the Bavarian Food Court, which serves delicious bratwursts everyday alongside steaming cups of hot chocolate with marshmallows, traditional mulled wine or cider, and much more.
