After being delayed due to the strong winds of Storm Amy over the weekend, Halloweenville has officially opened its doors for 2025, adding extra dates to make up for the delay.
Formerly known as the Halloween Lakeside Trail, Halloweenville is located in the picturesque 70-acre site at Partridge Lakes near Warrington, just an hour from Liverpool. The family-friendly experience is open until November 2, 2025.

This year, guests can expect a spooky adventure into the Cheshire countryside’s enchanted land, where they can fully immerse themselves in all things weird, wonderful and witchy. This year’s theme takes visitors “underwater” to the haunting depths of Gold Lake, where ghostly sea creatures, sunken secrets, and the skeletal remains of pirates come back to life.
Along the experience, visitors need to collect sparkly treasures before earning a place at the magical Skeleton Crew Pirate Party. What is more, expect live music, in the Trick or Treat Tavern, hot beverages, marshmallow toasting, as well as food vendors, while the Patridge Café serves classic hotdogs, burgers and fries.
Moreover, visitors with wheelchairs and prams should be able to embark on the trail, with the route a mixture of stone or gravel and woodchip. However, guests are told to keep in mind one steep uphill slope, which may require assistance.

Halloweenville owners Barbara Ikin and Callum Morgan said today: “We’re absolutely delighted Halloweenville 2025 is finally open. After Storm Amy delayed us for a couple of days, it was such a relief to finally welcome everyone through the gates.”
“We were very lucky that the storm damage was minimal, and looking back, postponing the opening was definitely the right decision for everyone’s safety. Our amazing team of staff and actors worked so hard to get everything ready again, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they pulled together.”
“This year, Halloweenville isn’t just a trail – it’s a full experience. We’ve turned it into a destination with interactive quests that the kids (and adults!) have absolutely loved. It’s been brilliant seeing families get involved and enjoy the atmosphere together.”

“The feedback from our opening night was overwhelmingly positive, and hearing how people enjoyed it means the world to us and makes all the hard work worthwhile. We’ve already sold out quite a few nights, and we’ve added two extra dates to help those who missed out over the weekend. Tickets are going quickly, so if you fancy some spooky fun, now’s the time to book.”
Halloweenvile is taking place at Partridge Lakes near Warrington between October 3 and November 2, and you can book your tickets here.
