The golf resort and spa’s patio also features a fire pit.
The day has finally arrived and many of us can’t wait to head outdoors for a reason besides daily exercise and our weekly shop. Luckily, Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa has launched their brand new outdoor space, The Patio, for you to enjoy a tipple and bite to eat to celebrate the latest restrictions being lifted.
The golf resort and spa close to the beach is bringing a taste of the Mediterranean to their Fairway Grill, Restaurant & Bar this month by serving up a new small plates menu featuring dishes for you to pick at whilst you socialise outdoors. Visitors to Formby Hall can choose three plates from the menu for £15 and enjoy tasty options including meatballs in tomato sauce; honey roasted chorizo; garlic king prawns with chilli and coriander; grilled seabass and white bean cassoulet; and deep fried goats cheese, to name a few.
Also on the menu is a selection of delicious sandwiches and flat breads such as olive and caramelized red onion and pesto, mozzarella and pine nut, as well as an extensive drinks menu of wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks. Plus, with a great new covered outdoor space alongside their new menu, Formby Hall is the perfect place to chill out with a beer, wine, G&T or a different tipple of choice and is great for those looking for a quieter spot just outside of Liverpool.
The Patio overlooks the resort’s stunning championship golf course and you needn’t panic about the weather ruining your alfresco dining experience as the outdoor space is under a chic-tented canopy. To add to the cosiness (after all, summer hasn’t arrived just yet) the area also features a fire pit, comfy chairs and blankets.
The Patio is now open for guests and resort members, and walk-ins are also available to those not staying at Formby Hall. You can book your spot by the fire pit, as well as a room or spa experience, here.
