The soothing rush of a fast-flowing current, the hypnotic sequence of ripples, the serpentine journey of a river, carving its way through tangled forests and rugged countryside…new multisensory experience FLOW brings nature’s waters to life with vivid 360-degree projections and the symphonic story of Bedřich Smetana’s ‘The Moldau’. Coming to St. George’s Hall on May 5, the breathtaking 30-minute show will transform the historic venue into a kaleidoscope of colour and send you on an unforgettable, nature-wrapped voyage.

What will you experience at FLOW?
Following the success of the spellbinding Vivaldi light show ‘Enlightenment’ which enchanted Liverpool last year, Zurich-based artist collective PROJEKTIL are back with a new nature-inspired iteration.
FLOW captures the unstoppable force of the Vltava River (meaning Wild Water), the longest river in the Czech Republic which winds from mountain springs, through the untamed wilderness of the Bohemian Forest, to just north of Prague. Composer Smetana celebrates the river’s powerful journey in his composition ‘The Moldeau’, weaving myth and legend into his moving melodies.
In this stunning light and sound show the river’s twisting flow will be portrayed through a combination of Smetana’s storytelling music and captivating visuals which illuminate the neoclassical architecture of St. George’s Hall. The show is a collaboration with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, resulting in a bewitching blend of classical orchestral symphonies and modern sound design.

At FLOW by Eonarium, you can enjoy a relaxing escape from reality as you lose yourself in a fascinating fusion of light, sound and colour. Not to mention the striking 19th-century architecture of the iconic venue. You’ll be transported to the serene wilds of the Czech Republic without stepping foot outside Liverpool.
