1. Duke Street Food and Drink Market
One of Liverpool’s top street food markets, Duke Street Market, is offering half price on their house lager with a dish from each kitchen. Enjoy a lager alongside Kelp’s Fish and Chips (beer battered fish, chips, crushed peas, curry sauce and tartare sauce) or Cahita’s famous Cubano with mojo pork shoulder, roast ham, sliced chorizo, gouda cheese, house pickle and sweet mustard served with mojo mayo. If you’re dad is a meat lover, tuck into Bone and Block’s Steak Frites or Big Lola’s Brisket Burrito. Half price pints of Duke Street Market’s lager can also be enjoyed with Ginger’s Katsu Curry, either crispy or naked chicken, prawn or sweet potato with sticky rice, curry sauce and pickles, or Vincenzo’s Lobster Ravioli, fresh pasta filled with lobster, tomato sauce, prawns and cream. 2. Bold Street Coffee
Buoys for the boys! Wake up and smell the coffee this Father’s Day with Bold Street Coffee and enjoy one of the coffee shop’s signature buoys for free. Bold Street Coffee’s buoys are a great breakfast option (especially if you don’t fancy cooking for your dad) and consist of scrambled egg and melted cheese in a lightly toasted brioche bun with the option to add the likes of sausage, bacon, avocado and more. For the the first 50 dads who walk through the door at Bold Street Coffee on Father’s Day, they will receive a free buoy (but must be with a purchase and they can choose any buoy on the menu.) 3. Slim’s
Another Bold Street favourite to visit for some cracking food offers this Father’s Day is Slim’s. Nothing says Sunday like a roast and Slim’s has a marvellous roast served on a platter with all the trimmings for you and your family to indulge in. Adding to the Father’s Day treats, dads can eat for free at Slim’s, so whether they may have their eye on a topside of beef with Yorkshire pud, a mouthwatering burger or tasty toasted sandwich, it’s on the house! 4. Peppercat Sports
Head downstairs at Slim’s to Peppercat Sports where dads can take on the bar’s Father’s Day Hot Wing Challenge. Take on 10 of the hottest chicken wings with your dad and see who can handle the heat. This challenge from Peppercat Sports costs £15 for 10 hot wings and a choice of beer or milkshake to wash it all down with and will be definitely needed after those fiery wings. And if you manage to finish all 10 wings, you can get a jug of beer on the house, plus a polaroid on the wall and some Peppercat merchandise.
