Let me introduce you to your new lockdown saviours.
There’s absolutely nothing worse than running out of essential Netflix snacks – particularly while under ‘stay at home’ orders by BoJo. Eating is pretty much the only things getting us through November at this point, we must admit. But providing solace for all those living in Liverpool during these potentially snackless times is new app Fancy, who is devoted to providing us all with those crucial essentials in as little time as possible.
Delivering everything you need in 30 minutes or less, the Fancy app is the latest local development helping us to avoid the shops – and it’s incredibly convenient for those who simply don’t feel up to leaving the house in the middle of a pandemic, and those self-isolating, too.
The app features a number of essential items you might be in need of at the moment, with around 900 products to choose from including sweets, treats, kitchen and fresh essentials, toilet roll, cleaning products, pet food, and soon – OTC medicines, too. And while you might be thinking there’s a catch, you’d be wrong – with Fancy taking pride in the fact that there are no hidden surcharges that will cost you an arm and a leg – just simple pricing with a £2 delivery fee.
The app is available now on iOS, with an Android version set to launch later this month. Not only that, but users can also take advantage of their new referral scheme – where you can nab yourself £5 to spend every time someone uses your code. Oh, and to start you off – Secret Liverpool readers can also take £5 off their first order with the code SECRET5, too.
Fancy is open 7 days a week from 4pm-1am Monday-Thursday, 12pm-2am Fridays, 10am-2am Saturdays and 10am-1am on Sundays. Download the app from the iOS app store here. Fancy is currently available in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle, with plans to roll out in further UK cities soon.
