As the city prepares to host Eurovision 2023, some restaurants are bringing us delicious Eurovision menus to enjoy as we soak in the Eurovision buzz. There are Eurovision-themed bottomless brunches, afternoon teas and high-end tasting menus.
Whether you’re looking to splash some cash to mark this fantastic event or looking for something a bit less pricey, there’s something to suit everybody’s budget. It’s the perfect opportunity to taste Ukranian dishes too, as the city pays homage to the country.
1. Euro Fan Cafe at Peacock
After a makeover, Peacock Liverpool is ready to open as the official Euro Cafe for Eurovision 2023. Alongside new decor including a fresh coat of paint and some pretty neon signs, there will be a new, Eurovision-inspired menu.
Jazz music will return to Peacock, with live music and themed cocktails too and it will open 9a m until late, May 9 – May 12. Of course, they will be showing Eurovision and no booking is required.
2. Ukranian dishes at the Royal Albert Dock
Between May 1-13, the brilliant restaurants on Royal Albert Dock will be serving some delicious Ukranian dishes that you just have to try, created by Ukranian chef, Olia Hercules. It’s the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in a bit of Ukranian culture before Eurovision.
The dishes include syrnk, which is a Ukranian cheesecake topped with caramelised apples. Doesn’t that just sound delicious? You can also try a Ukranian kompot spritz and honestly, we’d be having both.
3. Academy Restaurant
Academy Restaurant Liverpool is an absolute hidden gem. There, they train new chefs and you get to eat delicious, high quality food at a comparatively low price. Honestly, everybody should visit at least once.
You can enjoy a special Eurovision themed evening on April 20 with dishes from various different countries across Europe. It’s £45:00 per person and features dishes like coq au vin, colcannon and, of course, chicken kyiv. Just scan the QR code in the tweet above to book a table.
4. The Brunch & Cocktail Club
There will be two exciting Eurovision-themed bottomless brunches at The Brunch & Cocktail Club on May 12 and 13. You can book either for 3 pm or 5 pm and enjoy delicious food boards alongside tons of bottomless, tempting martinis.
It’s £40 per ticket and drinks include pornstar martinis, pink martinis, espresso martinis and loads of mocktails, plus soft drinks. If you’d like to book a table, you can do do on the website.
5. Panoramic 34
Panoramic 34 is one of the best rooftop bars in Liverpool, offering stunning views across the city. So, as the city buzzes with Eurovision energy, you can watch it all as you chow down on a delicious Eurovision menu.
You can either enjoy a set menu between May 8-14 or opt for an afternoon tea until 5pm on any of these days. The set menu includes tons of tasty dishes from across the continent, including good old Devon crab, Ukranian Vareniki and blood orange semifreddo. It’s £55 for two courses and £69 for three.
