If you’ve visited the Dishoom in other cities around the UK, you may have witnessed the queues often all the way outside the restaurant, even a while after it has opened. This shows how much everyone enjoys the spot, quickly becoming the go-to place for meals out. And now, Liverpool is getting its own Dishoom, delighting diners throughout.
As the next location to welcome the country’s “best-loved” restaurant, Dishoom Liverpool is also the fifth ‘Permit Room’ in the UK, offering an all-day cafe and bar, alongside Cambridge, Oxford, Brighton, and on London’s Portobello Road. A more casual feel of the new Dishoom matches Liverpool’s vibe the best, according to CEO Brian Trolip.

On top of offering a relaxed ambience, the popular chain restaurant is set to serve what we all know and love, its famous Bombay dishes, such as the Bacon Naan Rolls and House Black Daal, which have become quick favourites across the UK.
Plus, Liverpudlians can dine out with a clean conscience. The Meal for a Meal donates a meal to a child in need who might otherwise go without for every meal bought, in partnership with Magic Breakfast in the UK and The Akshaya Patra Foundation in India. From all the other UK cafés in Edinburgh, London, Birmingham and Manchester, Dishoom has donated over 20 million meals to those in need.
Where is Dishoom Liverpool and when will it open?

Dishoom Liverpool has taken over the former Bank of Scotland on Dale Street at Exchange Court. While the spot has not yet provided an exact opening date, guests will be able to enjoy half-price food from as early as late February, with the official launch happening in early March.
The brand has seen significant expansion over the last year, with Glasgow and Leeds locations, as well as a small hotel in London. What is more, there are rumours of a new location at London Bridge!
