Ever dreamt of slipping under the covers in Cathy Earnshaw’s fever-dream bedroom from Wuthering Heights – complete with vein-streaked walls, ghostly hair trails, and Charli XCX haunting the speakers?
As Emerald Fennell’s star-packed adaptation starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi storms cinemas today (Valentine’s Day couldn’t be more Yorkshire-gothic if it tried), Airbnb has recreated the film’s most unhinged set piece for three lucky couples to overnight in, free of charge.
Picture this: you’re not just watching Heathcliff brood on the moors – you’re galloping across them yourself by day, sipping refined teas by night, then retreating to a pink-drenched boudoir that feels plucked straight from Cathy’s unraveling mind.
It’s the ultimate Brontë fever dream, tucked into a historic Halifax manor where the cast themselves bunked down.
A moody Yorkshire Valentine inspired by Wuthering Heights

Much of the story and this new film is rooted in West Yorkshire’s wild moorlands, which means the dramatic landscapes on screen are actually within easy reach for UK viewers.
To mark the release, Airbnb is giving three couples (or pairs) the chance to spend a night in an exact replica of Cathy’s bedroom from the film, tucked away in a historic Yorkshire manor house and dialled up to full gothic intensity.
Stay inside Cathy’s bedroom from Wuthering Heights

The experience starts before you even reach the bed, with guests stepping through a dark red antechamber decked out in velvet carpets and flickering lanterns that feels more like a liminal film set than a hotel corridor. Push open the double doors and it all explodes into a grand pink boudoir – opulent, feverish and deliberately unsettling.
Every surface is loaded with character details: veins and freckles trail across the walls, while strands of golden hair hang from the dressing table as if Cathy has just stormed out mid-argument.
Her full married-name progression “Catherine Earnshaw, Catherine Linton, Catherine Heathcliff” is scrawled on the window, and the dressing table itself is scattered with hairbrushes and powder, as Charli XCX plays eerily in the background. It’s theatrical, maximalist, and not exactly designed for a restful early night.
What the stay includes

This isn’t just a bedroom stunt, the overnight comes bundled with a full, Brontë-flavoured itinerary across Yorkshire.
- A horseback ride across the moorlands, channelling peak Heathcliff-and-Cathy yearning against a backdrop of sweeping, windswept hills.
- A classic Yorkshire afternoon tea, complete with tiny sandwiches and scones that feel far more wholesome than the drama unfolding in Cathy’s head.
- An evening inspired by dinner at Edgar Linton’s home, Thrushcross Grange, leaning into the more refined side of the Wuthering Heights universe.
- A film-themed breakfast the following morning, plus a visit to the Brontë Parsonage for a hit of literary history and context.
The whole package is completely free, with three one-night stays up for grabs between February 27 and March 4.
Cathy’s-bedroom at Holdsworth House

The Cathy’s-bedroom set-up is hosted at Holdsworth House, a family-owned Jacobean manor in Halifax that also served as a base for the film’s cast and director during shooting. Guests in the promo stay in a specially created replica of the bedroom from the movie, while the Executive Suites at the property are also available to book on Airbnb if you miss out.
Holdsworth House itself is something of a local legend: the Beatles are said to have stayed there in secret back in 1964, and its historic atmosphere makes it a fitting jumping-off point for exploring wider Brontë Country.
The writer who road-tested the experience even slept in Emerald Fennell’s own pad from filming, with the teasing suggestion that more starry rooms, including Jacob Elordi’s might be within blagging distance for particularly determined fans.
Exploring Brontë Country beyond the bedroom

Step outside the drama-drenched boudoir and you’re in the middle of classic Brontë territory, all brooding skies, open moorland and quaint stone villages. Haworth Village is a highlight, with cobbled streets lined by independent shops that slope down towards rolling hills, feeling almost purpose-built for a long, reflective wander.
Literature lovers can head to St Michael and All Angels Church to visit the Brontë family’s burial place, adding a quietly moving stop to an otherwise highly theatrical trip.
Bookings for the free Cathy’s bedroom stays open on Airbnb on February 20, with the three available nights running between February 27 and March 4.
