The deal starts this week.
The Eat Out To Help Out scheme brings memories of summer last year when we finally got to leave our homes and dine out, and bag a bargain too. The government may not have relaunched it but one Liverpool bar and restaurant has brought back the popular scheme that so many people went crazy for last summer.
Birdies Bar & BBQ in the Baltic Triangle announced the news on social media that its version of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme will go live from today (April 19). Birdies’ Instagram post said wrote: “NEW OFFER INCOMING. Starting from Monday 19th April and running Monday – Wednesday every week, our Eat Out to Get Out scheme gives you 50% up to the value of £10 per person”.
The scheme was launched by the government in August 2020 for one month in an aim to encourage people to get back out and support the hospitality industry after such a difficult time during England’s first lockdown. And now, with bars and restaurants in the city finally reopening this spring for outdoor drinking and dining, Birdies Bar & BBQ has chosen to bring back the penny-saving deal.
The Baltic Triangle bar will be offering its customers 50% off their bill, up to the value of £10 per person from Monday to Wednesday, before 5pm. Their food menu features loaded fries, tacos and a range of burgers suitable for meat-eaters, vegetarians and vegans. You can book a table at Birdies Bar & BBQ here.
