Calling all Kopites and adrenaline junkies: Anfield Stadium provides thrills whether there is a game or not. Did you know you can experience the historic stadium in a brand-new way by taking on the Anfield Abseil? Yep, that’s right, abseil.
The Anfield Abseil joins the Liverpool FC stadium tour and LFC Museum as an absolute must-do for Liverpool fans – alongside watching a match, of course. Are you brave enough?
A thrilling activity
Feel the Ian Rush as you descend 100 feet from the top of the Main Stand, coming eye to eye with the iconic Liverpool FC crest. You’ll get a bird’s eye view of our wonderful city that surrounds the stadium – you’ll be on the front of the stadium, as opposed to pitch-side.
So, what can you expect at the Anfield Abseil?
You’ll never walk alone, or climb alone either. After completing the waiver online, the experienced, outdoor instructors will give you a thorough safety briefing, before harnessing you up for your unique experience. You can take things at your own pace, and marvel at the glorious setting of many wins for Liverpool FC. The overall experience takes 60 minutes.
Due to the nature of the activity, there are height and weight restrictions: you must be at least 1.2 metres tall and under 21 stone/130kg to participate. In terms of age, anyone aged 10+ can participate in the abseil, though parental consent is required for those under 18. One adult is required for every two participants under 18.
When bought through Fever, the ticket to the Anfield Abseil also includes admission to the LFC Museum, an absolute treasure trove of Liverpool FC memorabilia, where you can see all Liverpool’s major trophies in the flesh, including all six European trophies. So, do you have the nerves to take on the climb and subsequent descent? There’s only one way to find out… book your tickets to the Anfield Abseil here.
