
Liverpool FC fans can not only be proud of their team now, but also of the fact that Anfield Stadium is the best football stadium in the UK. Plus, it serves one of the cheapest pints and pies in the country!
According to a study done by software provider Nsoft, Anfield topped the list of the best overall stadium in the country. The experts ranked the stadiums based on capacity, accessibility, cost of a pie and pint, parking facilities and Google rating.
Anfield Stadium doesn’t just provide top vibes and banter during games, it also has a high Google rating of 4.7/5, a capacity of 61,276 and just a short 0.02 km stroll from the nearest train station. What is more, the stadium offers affordable refreshments, with a pint costing just £3.30 and a pie setting fans back just £3.40. As a result, Anfield topped the list as the best overall football stadium in the UK, scoring 8.85 out of 10.
Second on the list was Old Trafford with an overall score of 8.46 and a close call to Liverpool, while St James’ Park was left in the dust with a measly score of 6.80. Carrow Road took the fourth spot scoring 6.59, and The Riverside Stadium scored 6.53 being fifth on the list.
The most affordable stadium in the UK is officially Ewood Park with a pie price of just £2.80 and a pint ££3.50, which, is more expensive than Anfield, we might add! Carrow Road took the second spot, while Toughsheet Community Stadium came third. Surprisingly, Anfield Stadium is eighth on the list of the most affordable stadiums.
